Hundreds of people packed the iconic building to celebrate the regions talented designers
Tina Malone and Tanya Bardsley where among the guests who packed out the iconic venue to chance a glimpse of new collections from talented desginers.
Arrangements for the event have been on going for the past year and it was clear to see the hard work which had gone into the event, with something for everyone.
Guests, who also included former Big Brother star Mark Byron, model Sam Reece and former X Factor contestant Marcus Collins, were treated to catwalk shows as well as a full programme of Q&As, panel discussions, demonstrations and masterclasses from leading fashion and beauty experts.
The festival, which is now in its third year, aims to celebrate and highlight the talent within the North West’s fashion industry.
Liverpool-based MD Productions – who shot to fame on Britain’s Got Talent – opened the event at 4pm with an energetic dance performance of an mixture of Michael Jackson tracks.
Performances continued as X Factor star Keira Weathers took to the stage, ensuring guest where entertained in between catwalks shows and shopping, she gave her rendition of two Whitney Houston classics.
Dawn Ward- star of ItvBe’s Real Housewives of Cheshire, played proud mum as her Derby wowed guests with her singing.
Celebrity make-up artist Kate Hayes gave audiences a masterclass on how to create the perfect contouring, which proved popular as guests packed the area to see one of Liverpool’s most in demand artists in action. She is due to hold another masterclass tomorrow at 2pm.
All eyes were on the catwalk this afternoon when Miss Francesca Couture and KU Spendlove showcased their new pieces. Both designers have become the go-to brands for girls in the city who are looking for an glamorous outfit.
Harvey Nichols’ Electric Hair team were be on hand to provide treatments to guests, and will be present at the event tomorrow too.
if you couldn’t make today’s event, don’t worry as the famous faces will be descending on the city tomorrow as Abbey Clancy is thought to be attending to watch her daughter Sophia as she models Melanie Louise’s collections.
Leanne Brown who is also of ITV fame will be using the event as a platform to debut her new collection for her children’s wear label Kiss Frogs.
Tomorrow will be tailored around children and families, with entertainment and kids clothing taking centre stage.
The event will start at 1pm tomorrow and will be running until 7pm.
